Which Futursoft systems does FuturAPI give access to?

Accepted Answer

The interfaces target Futursoft's business system (AutoFutur, KoneFutur and the newer FuturNX). The different areas are split into their own services: products and pricing, inventory and invoicing, and workshop booking and work orders. Everything goes through the same API gateway (api.futursoft.net).

What technology do the interfaces use?

Accepted Answer

The interfaces are RESTful JSON interfaces documented in OpenAPI 3.0 format. Authentication is done with OAuth2, and calls additionally require a subscription-specific subscription key (Ocp-Apim-Subscription-Key) in the gateway header.

What product information is available from the product interface?

Accepted Answer

Products are searched by product code and supplier number, or by a multi-field search in which you can filter by, for example, name, EAN code, product group or change date. The response includes product details, prices (sales, purchase and customer-specific), stock balances, shelf locations and discounts. A single query returns at most 1000 products, paginated.

What can be done with the workshop interface?

Accepted Answer

With it you can query mechanics' available work hours by day or period, create and edit bookings, manage work orders and work and product lines, record work times (start, break, stop), retrieve a vehicle's service history by registration number, and store insurance information. Also included are vehicle additional information, attachments and tyre information.

Does FuturAPI support ready-made connections to vehicle manufacturers' and suppliers' systems?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The integration interface has connections to, among others, the Mercedes-Benz XENTRY system, Toyota DPMM, Ford FSA, AGCO MDI, MyBCS and RoPo Connect. They handle data transfer with these external systems.

What is the Order Relay Service?

Accepted Answer

It is a relay service under construction that relays orders, requests for quotation, quotations and delivery notes between automotive ERP systems over HTTP. It replaces the old FTP-based eTilaus channel and brings with it attachments, comment threads and real-time status tracking. The service is being piloted at workshops in 2026, so it is not yet generally available.

The interfaces are self-documenting via OpenAPI 3.0 specifications, and behind them is Vitec Futursoft's domestic product development and support organisation specialised in the automotive sector. For practical integration onboarding and keys, it is worth getting in touch with Futursoft.
