What is FuturNX?

FuturNX is a browser-based ERP system for workshops and machinery dealers. In a single view you handle work orders, booking, sales, inventory, customers and vehicles — from job intake to invoicing. It runs in the browser without installations, whether in the office, at the counter or in the workshop bay.

What can the FuturNX AI assistant do?

Accepted Answer

The assistant is not just a chatbot; it retrieves real-time information from the system and performs tasks. For example, it lists overdue jobs, shows the day's schedule and the mechanics' workload, finds available slots, and can create a booking for you. It also tidies up work-order descriptions and customer notes and compiles a concise morning briefing of the vehicles coming in.

Can vehicle data be retrieved directly from the register?

Accepted Answer

Yes. FuturNX retrieves vehicle data in real time from the Traficom register by registration number or VIN. The data is filled in automatically on the work order and booking, and queries leave an audit log. Data-protection-compliant consent management is included.

Does FuturNX work with parts catalogues?

Accepted Answer

Yes, integration with more than 14 parts catalogues is included, among them Meko, Tavo, Orum, Närhi, Kaha, Koivunen, Startax and Mekonomen. You can import products and work phases directly from the catalogue onto the work order. There are also brand-specific connections, such as Toyota DPMM, Ford XFI FSA and AGCO MDI.

Does FuturNX have a point of sale and payment terminal?

Yes. The browser-based sales screen works as a point of sale and supports the payment methods cash, card, invoice and delivery note. Card payments are handled through the Nets Cloud payment-terminal integration. A work order can be converted directly into an invoice, a cash sale or a delivery note.

Is FuturNX suitable for multiple sites?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The system is multi-tenant — one system covers several sites. Access rights are role-based and site-specific, login is possible with SSO, and each site can be given its own colours and branding.

How does FuturNX relate to AutoFutur?

Accepted Answer

FuturNX works together with AutoFutur, one of the most widely used ERP systems for parts dealers and workshops in the Nordics. For your own integrations, FuturAPI is available: documented RESTful interfaces with OAuth2 authentication and an OpenAPI 3.0 description.

Which languages does FuturNX work in, and is help available in Finnish?

Accepted Answer

The interface is available in Finnish, English, Swedish and Estonian, and speech recognition for text entry is also included. Behind it is Futursoft's own Finnish-language support team that knows workshop day-to-day work — help is available in your own language.
